How to Set Up an NFC Tag to Open Your Google Review Page

Using an NFC tag to open your Google Review page makes it easy for customers to leave feedback about your store or service.


What You Need

  • NFC tags (such as NTAG213)

  • Smartphone or PC

  • A business registered with Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business)


🔗 1. How to Get Your Google Review Link

  • Log in to your Google Business Profile Manager

  • Select your business

  • From the left menu, choose CustomersReviews

  • Click the button at the top labeled “Ask for reviews” or “Request reviews”

  • Click “Copy link” to get your review URL (example: https://g.page/r/XXXXXXXX/review)


🖊 2. How to Write the URL to an NFC Tag

Using a Smartphone (Android / iPhone):

  • Android

    • Recommended app: NFC Tools (free)

    • Open the app

    • Go to the Write tab → tap Add a record → select URL / Website

    • Paste the copied review URL

    • Tap Write and hold your phone near the NFC tag

  • iPhone

    • Compatible models: iPhone 7 and later (with a writing app)

    • Use an app like NFC Tools

    • Open the app, select Write

    • Add the URL and hold the phone near the NFC tag to write


Check It Works
Tap the NFC tag with a smartphone and make sure it opens the Google Review submission page directly.


📌 Important Notes

  • Always verify the review link is correct by opening it yourself with your Google account

  • NFC tags have a limit on URL length, so use shortened URLs if needed

  • For outdoor use, choose waterproof and durable NFC tags
